Publishing and sharing our writing!
Oak Class proudly published their narrative openings for Macbeth! The children assessed their writing against our toolkits and gave feedback to their peers. To celebrate our finished pieces, the children read their work to the Year 4 children in Willow Class!
Greetings in French
In French, Year 4, 5 and 6 children learned how to exchange greetings with each other. We developed our pronunciation skills of the ‘ç’ sound in ‘ça va’ and matched expressions to the correct phrases in reading and writing!
Inference in Macbeth
Today, Oak Class developed their inference skills. The children became detectives and used details within the text to explore and uncover more about the characters, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth.

Design Technology: Smoothies
It was a busy afternoon in Maple Class! There was peeling, chopping, slicing and juicing to be done before we could create some delicious smoothies! The children were a fantastic team but they were not keen on the sour lime or avocado!
