We hosted a Christmas Craft Club this week at Mary Howard! The children had a great time creating lots of different Christmas crafts and displaying some on our big tree! They also enjoyed a warm cup of hot chocolate to get into the Christmas spirit!

The Great Fire of London workshop
We had an amazing morning going back in time to 1666 to investigate what happened in Pudding Lane. We used role play and collaborative games to understand the sequence of events, bringing everything to life. It was also our first time on the minibus which was really exciting!
Collograph Printing
Oak Class were inspired by the work of Teis Albers and created their own Collograph plates, which they used to make prints. We carefully selected galactic looking colours in preparation for adding our futuristic sketches to the final pieces next week!

Rolls in Gymnastics
In Gymnastics this week, Oak and Willow class learned how to perform different rolls safely. They worked in partners to develop their execution in pointing their toes and straightening their arms. The children showed excellent teamwork and encouragement!
