Residential!
This week, Class Three went on their residential to Laches Wood! The children enjoyed a multitude of fun activities including: archery, axe throwing, canoeing, caving, BMXing and high ropes!
Teddy bears picnic
Today we welcomed our new Reception children to a Teddy bears picnic for their final transition session. Class 1 were so kind and helpful! Friends have already been made and we are all looking forward to September!
Class Two: Sewing!

Class Two: Shadows
In science this week Class Two investigated and described shadows based on materials. They were able to write a conclusion using the key vocabulary: opaque, transparent and translucent. Well done Class Two!
Position and direction
Some collaborative learning and problem solving in Maths this week. The children had to program a Robot Mouse to move around a track collecting cheese! They had to use forwards, backwards, left, right and turn functions to work out a route! This helped our position and direction knowledge!
