Close catch, deep catch!
In PE, Oak Class began their cricketing topic by establishing the ready position! The children learned how to do a successful close catch and deep catch and considered when each would be used.
Parachute!
We displayed some fantastic teamwork playing a variety of games with the parachute. Our favourite was when we had to go underneath and swap places with a partner!
PE: Netball!
Well done to Oak and Willow! The children developed their passing and shooting skills in PE today whilst also developing their team work skills.
Rolls in Gymnastics
In Gymnastics this week, Oak and Willow class learned how to perform different rolls safely. They worked in partners to develop their execution in pointing their toes and straightening their arms. The children showed excellent teamwork and encouragement!
Ball Skills
In PE this week, Oak Class communicated to help their team make effective decisions. The children played the roles of attacker to dribble and pass the ball whilst the defenders tried to kick the ball out of play. Super ball skills today!

Our PE this term is all about team building! Today we played a variety of games and worked through challenges. We had to solve problems, share ideas, listen to each other and work together!
Tag Rugby
In PE this week, Class Three used their newly acquired knowledge and skills of tag rugby to participate in their own pupil-led games. The children worked fairly, following the rules of the game and considered tactics to help them to succeed. Super koinonia was demonstrated by all!
